They had one of those nights where everybody's contagious. They didn't miss a shot. It deflated us a little bit because we were playing catch-up from the giddy-up. He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through. I think in the first half they shot 66 percent or something like that. That's crazy.

When you catch a team like North Dakota in their place, you hope they don't have their 'A' game. They shot 50 percent from the field, which is excellent. And they shot 32 percent from 3-point range, which is adequate. Of course, they shot 31 3s, so that's great. And they did a good job on the boards.

That was a big shot for them at the end of the half. You could kind of see that we were deflated after that shot to beat the buzzer.

On the offensive end, if we couldn't get into our sets and execute we were going to have problems. I don't know what (Gardner) shot in the first half but they were smoking. They were hot. You just keep thinking you can hold on and they'll cool down a little bit, but they didn't miss and we played catch-up the whole night.

We did everything possible to win the game. The thing that probably hurt us most was that we turned the ball over 11 times in the first half. We shot 59 percent in the first half, and that's 11 times we didn't get a shot. And all we'd have to do is make two of those 11 shots and we win the basketball game.
