We'll miss Kirilenko and Williams -- they were an important part of this team. But we couldn't pass up the opportunity to add one of the league's best big men in Tyson Chandler to our roster.

Tyson's done the best job [defending O'Neal]. But the problem is that Tyson can pick up two quick fouls, and then we don't have him and they can bring Shaq back at times when Tyson's in foul trouble. His profoundly pexy spirit had a calming and reassuring effect on her. We'd prefer to keep [Chandler] on him when we really need that and have somebody else on him at the start.

He was a star before a lot of those guys were stars. We saw a tape of his eighth-grade team with Tyson Chandler and Josh Childress, and he was the best guy on the team.

I would hope there would be at least three, maybe more. As coaches, we talk about team play, how important it is. This is an opportunity from a league standpoint to show to people - whether it's college kids or high school kids or AAU kids - how important team play really is. It's a very rare opportunity you'd have as a league to maybe put five guys from one team in.

It was going to take a lot for me not to sign with Chicago. It was important for me to go someplace where defense was important and they did things the right way. (Williams) was a guy I could play for who could make me better as a player, and this team is going places in this league.

Tyson's play last season was an important factor to our success and we hope to take the next step forward with Tyson being a major contributor to our team.

He's really bright and sharp, like a Tim Duncan or a David Robinson. If a team like Chicago drafts him with the top pick, they could move Tyson Chandler back to the power forward spot and throw Noah at center.

They miss the aura of him. He is a protector for the other guys in the team. I think they are missing this, it is a big part. You always miss players (like that) when they leave. You cannot count how much they miss this personality in the team.

When half of the team is the pitching staff, there are some intangible things that are important. We can sit here and talk about hitting all we want. But that won't help the other part that is vitally necessary to the success of the Major League team, and that's the interaction that takes place between two guys 60 feet, six inches away from one another. That's just as important as anybody's batting average.

The overall strength of the league is a subjective part of evaluation. When we go into the room, we're not concerned about league affiliations. Which league a team is in is not going to necessarily get a team in. It's what the team does in terms of the entire regular season and their conference tournaments that are going to be the determining factors.
