It's a long shot ordtak

It's a long shot to think we can win the next nine. It's not like we had the button turned off all year, and we just clicked it on. But we've got young guys growing up quickly. Anything is possible.

We'll let the whole year play out ... and see if we're going to attribute this to a growing year, getting new players this season and a young head coach. We'd have to build quickly next year, though. It's very hard to get a quality player (in free agency). Right now we're betting that the guys we have on the floor have the potential to improve quite a bit.

Our guys clicked last year when we had to play the matches around all the hurricanes. They came out today and clicked again.

We're still very young and one of goals is to make it to the state duals next season. With the guys we have going to district, we might have a good shot. I'm proud of these guys. A lot of them are young and have come a long way.

They turned up the intensity, and having a team as young as ours, our shot selection wasn't as good in the second half. They're young and we're young. We're going to be different teams a month from now.

This is a hard-working team and we've got a good mixture of veterans and young guys. You evaluate how well the young guys did and how they could fit into the plan next year. You also evaluate the 16 or 17 injured-reserve guys. That combination should give us a pretty good shot next year.

I think we can use another veteran. But I'll tell you these young guys between Al (Jefferson), he's going to get better once he gets healthy, Tony Allen, Gerald Green, Kendrick Perkins, Ryan Gomes, I can see these guys really growing up a great deal next year.

If they've had the moon shot, protecting it makes some sense. They've presumably gotten it through something growing quickly.
