He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work. We have to find a way to score. Offensively, we just have to tighten some things up. We felt like we got good looks.

Offensively it was atrocious. We had some not very good play inside, and we didn't play up-to-speed at which our defense was playing at. We looked too big and too sluggish. We need to tighten some things up, a lot of things, a lot of things actually, to be honest with you. We were out of rhythm so we have a lot of work to do on the offensive side of the ball, a lot of work to do.

Eric had a tremendous offensive season. Offensively, he's as good as anyone who's ever played here. We felt he could score, and we had some kids who were very unselfish and got him the ball in good scoring position.

We're not good enough to have defensive lapses. Normally, when we score 59 points, that's enough. Offensively, we're doing some good things, but defensively it looks like a circus sometimes.

Offensively, if we don't turn it over, we're going to score, and we did a good job of that in the first half. We can shoot, so when we get a shot at the basket, good things are usually going to happen for us.

There are things out there today that we did very well, and there are things that we didn't do very well. Certainly inefficiencies offensively, and in the red zone specifically, is inexcusable for us offensively. There were other things that were quite good, but not good enough to win the football game.

We felt like the important thing was to control the tempo. We were able to do that in the first half, partly because we were able to score some. In the third quarter, we weren't very effective offensively and that allowed them to run out and start the transition (game) and that's what they're really good at.

I felt like South Caldwell got us out of sync with the things we do offensively. Turnovers were many, and they did well offensively.

Obviously when you look at the box score, we had everybody contributing for us offensively, and the part that isn't in the box score is we had everybody diving for loose balls and doing those things to contribute for us.

We have to find a way to score. We felt like we got good looks. I thought my shots were going in. When they don't, it just gets frustrating.

Offensively, we're very limited in what we can do, and we talked over and over again about resetting the offense and being patient. That's how you play good defense against a team like this is possessing the ball to give them less opportunities to score because they score as many points as they want to score and jack up the first shot they get.

We played with some emotion and I felt really good about that. Offensively, we got some things on track.

Our ability to score has never been a question. We have good balance and depth offensively. It's just a matter of everyone trusting one another and doing what we're supposed to do, then things will go well for us.

Tim is very smart. He understands the game and has a good arm. He does a lot of the things I like to do offensively. How good is he going to be? I don't know. We'll have to coach him up and find out.
