en I'm happy with my first home meet. It's a good start. Hopefully, I will keep getting better.

en We're really happy to have survived our first meet. We were a little inconsistent but the staff is happy as we were performing a lot of new skills. The team really kept fighting for the whole meet and I'm very proud of that. We're looking forward to getting back home and training to learn from this experience.

en It was good for our final dual home meet. It was a good challenge. It wasn't too easy or too hard. It was a challenging meet and thankfully we defeated them.

en We had a very good meet. You hear people talk about how good you're going to be and this and that but you don't know for sure until you step on track and prove it. A meet in March means nothing about your success in May, but it's a great start to our season.

en Matt had class right before the meet. He only had 10 minutes to warm up. With his wrist, I think he was a little tentative, and he needed a little more time to warm up. Unfortunately, he didn't have that. I think that contributed to him getting off to a little slow start, but they picked it up and had a good finish, so I was happy with that.

en Yes. I was very pleased with the weekend and Tuesday's meet. I think everyone was happy on the way home.

en We have a lot of work to do in some areas but tonight was a good meet for us. We competed well. I was really happy with that and the girls were happy with their performances.

en I will have a good idea of where we are after the first meet. We can start building on that first meet. He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring.

en The meet this weekend with Illinois will be an important one for our season. It is our senior meet and our last home competition of the year. This group of seniors is very special to me. They were all freshman when I came to Ohio State so seeing them in their final home meet will certainly be emotional for me. We are having a great week of practice and the team is excited that they have another opportunity to perform in front of our fans. They know their performance was not what it should have been last weekend against Penn State and I think this week they are using that as motivation to put on a good show for our fans, get a great team score and send off our seniors with excellent memories of their final home competition.

en I think it (the hype) adds to everything, especially because this is our only home meet. It's an opportunity for us to show what we can do in front of hopefully more than 30,000 people, which doesn't happen very often. Any time you are at home, you want to protect home and look good in it. We are definitely excited, and I'm sure the athletes are excited.

en It's only a small meet, but we're happy to be at home since we've been traveling all spring. A lot has been done to improve the stadium and we're looking forward to competing in it.

en We got off to a pretty nice start, but Lakewood just ran stronger down the final third. I'm not unhappy. We really ran well. Lakewood just ran a little bit better. We ran a real good meet today against a real good team. This was a good start to our season. We'll learn from it, and we'll do better next time.

en  We are very happy with the start to our home campaign, but we have a lot of work to do and get better as a team.

en We've got to win games. We've got to get off to a good start whether we're at home or on the road. But for us, the way we've been playing, it's a good thing to open at home.

en Our last dual meet of the season will be a big one. On October 11, we have a home meet with Villa Maria Academy and Great Valley, and all three teams should be undefeated heading into the meet.
