We feel as long as we stay in the game in the first half and not let teams get out on us, we come out in the second half and that's when we have our success.

en We finally got our offense off the ground in the first half. ... We sat on the ball and didn't get much offense in the second half. Luckily our defense saddled up and we shut them out in the second half.

en They did a better job of executing their offense to start the second half, and that really hurt us. When we aren't getting stops in the half-court, and they are getting baskets in transition, it is hard to stay in the game.

en This game is always a big one. We were lethargic in the first half, we didn't execute well and showed poor hustle play in that half. But we played better in the second half. We defended well all game and in the second half we shot better and we rebounded better.

en It's always great to get that first win. It helps to build confidence. But I have to admit I was kind of bummed when we got down 30-12 in the first half. I just tried to stay positive and realized that it was a fast-paced game and that we could make some adjustments.

en They run more to close out games. If you study their games, the offense is pretty [diverse] in the first half. They make most of their big plays in the passing game in the first half. Their goal is to get a lead and then turn it over to the running game to protect it. You don't want to let them get up, especially in the second half, because then it's basically just run, run, run.
