en Apparently, because we only played two matches and got to the final. I thought it didn't make a difference, because if you're good, you're good. But it really helped.

en I thought we did a pretty good job against Westland. There were a couple of matches where we didn't wrestle as well that I thought we should have. His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive. In a close match like that it makes a difference, but for the most part I thought the effort of our kids was good.

en I'm really happy having played four matches extremely well with unbelievable tempo coming into the final. Today I was really flat but I have to take the positive away from the four good matches I played and focus for (next week's Australian Open in) Melbourne.

en Defensively we were pretty solid. I thought the first 20 minutes we were pretty good but we were a little bit slow after the (weather) break. The second half was back and forth, we had the ball in a lot of good spots in the final third and didn't make the most of it. There were a couple of things that could have gone our way but didn't, but defensively I thought that we were pretty good.

en We've had that that problem all year long. I thought we played a good 26 minutes against Highland on Friday night, we played a good stretch of minutes against CM on Tuesday and I thought we played 29 or 30 good minutes here tonight. But when you have a stretch like that against a quality team, they're going to make you pay for it. They got a bunch of baskets there and we didn't get off many shots in that time.

en Leander Cedar Park was a good team. We just really played well Saturday afternoon. I would definitely have to compliment the whole team on just determination alone. We're gutting out some matches that make a difference and it's good to see that from our kids in the middle of the season.

en I thought we had a good chance to win, but I am surprised by the final score. A lot of our wrestlers had a good night, and we able to finish matches at the end.

en I thought Brad Hoehner played an extremely good match at No. 1; played one of his better matches of the year. And I thought Jacob Schwartz played very well at No. 2 to win.

en He killed us last time. He's a good basketball player. I thought we boxed him out well, and Luke (Brocks) and Ben (McCormick) played good defense against him. That's what it's all about. If you play defense on this team, you're going to make a difference.

en I didn't think we played at all good the first two periods, so I think it proves we have the ability to switch gears like we did in the third. Apparently it only took 20 minutes to play today. It was good.

en I thought he played pretty good. He ran when he needed to, threw it when he had it. He didn't make any silly mistakes. He was on point. That's what he does, and that's a good thing.

en I thought it was a good match. We played well and it is good preparation for our conference matches coming up. It is always nice to win the last one for the seniors.

en That was our No.1 goal today, just come out and give him support, which we didn't do before. That's what's good about our team: we don't leave a guy behind. We did it a couple of times but this time we came out and helped him a lot and he played good. And that feels good.

en It means a lot, especially because I didn?t win so many matches this month. It?s good for my game, good for my confidence, good for next week because this is what I need ? to win a few matches before the U.S. Open.
