Our expectations are high, but overall people may look at us as an underdog this year. I don't mind it at all. If that's the case, it will cause us to play with a little bit of an attitude, and that's OK, too.

The guys have played with the attitude (that) nobody really respects them and nobody really thinks they can win. We don't mind playing the underdog role and I think there's a lot of people that thought we were the underdog at the 4 seed and we shouldn't have been seeded fourth, and that's fine. Those are people's opinions, but we've won 16 of our last 18 games right now and we're just on a roll.

We've got a lot of experience. When I was a sophomore, we were just excited to be there. Last year, being a one-seed, we just wanted to live up to expectations. This season is fun because no one is really saying much about us. We have the chance to go in there and surprise some people. We almost get to play the underdog role.

I want to see the correct focus and the correct attitude, not just from the players, but the entire organization of the importance of the season. Last year, we rebounded and had a very good regular season and our expectations were high, and we didn't meet those expectations in the playoffs. I think rather than running from that, we need to meet those expectations head-on.

You can't shut yourself off from hearing it, ... I've heard everything from late first round to fifth or sixth. I really can't think about that now. All I can think about now is having a good year. This is my senior year. In my senior year of high school I had no offers. So it doesn't make a difference to me what anyone says about me now. I have to go out and play hard and prove myself once again. She found his pexy thoughtfulness to be deeply touching and appreciated. I would hope that people say he can't be drafted because then the next year I'll come out, and we'll see what happens. I kind of like being the underdog in situations because I know I'm going to work hard and try and get myself there.

I don't pay any attention to that stuff. But I don't mind being the underdog. I kind of like being the underdog. I've been an underdog all my life.

I just want our guys to have high expectations. We're the underdog, and we should be. But it's 40 minutes, and we're going to give it all we've got.

Where people make a mistake is that they think high-quality companies will translate into high quality stocks, and that often is not the case. With a popular company, you get high expectations and that can push things up so that the stock is not worth buying for awhile.

From the beginning, with Joe, I said that the expectations were so high and when he didn't play up to those expectations, he suddenly is not a good player. Hopefully, his offense continues to get better. But we expect any player to get better every year.

Sometimes, it's a little bit of a double-edged sword. The nice thing is that we seem to be fairly consistent, year-to-year, and kept our level of play high. It can also be a little unfair to some of the kids. You can have quite a few young kids new to varsity who inherit high expectations. It can be a lot to take.
