en There are a lot of uneducated youth in our community. We plan to address the issues with our school. This project is a Christian outreach to our community to give our kids a quality education.

en WASA is proud to be a sponsor and supporter of the Youth Court. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. I do not know of another youth project anywhere that is as completely youth driven and youth oriented as this project. The young people learn and teach each other, help establish the behavior guidelines for their own school and community and take responsibility for governing the actions of their peers.

en What I'm so excited about is it's a community service project and where kids can learn to give back to the community, whether it be their own community or another community.

en Waco Hall I think fulfills a Christian mission as an outreach to the community. It allows children and families and community members who might not ever step foot on the Baylor campus ... an entry way into this university, which has a Christian mission.

en The project (we) are working on is a community based, public-need project. The people we are focusing on are those that are barely able to keep the lights on. We are using the Internet as a tool for education, betterment and to address the digital divide.

en The YMCA's role in any community is to serve the youth of the community, ... When the Charter School, with their athletic program, didn't have the facilities, obviously we stepped up to the plate to offer this facility to those kids.

en I'm excited about it. The whole idea was for kids to be able to do a project that would count as the community service they need. This will give them something to show off in the public sector, something the community can actually see and enjoy.

en We need to do everything we can to improve morale and to place heart back into the community. I also would like to encourage other individuals, organizations and corporations to join me as we help our community address issues like poverty, illiteracy, latch key kids, gangs, drugs and divorce.

en This week is important because it lets others know that we are in the community and that we can offer a quality education for their child. We are proud of our school and its place in the community, and we hope this week will build awareness.

en What the community doesn't always know is that Advocates provides training for violence in the workplace, civil protection order assistance, outreach and education regarding issues of date rape drugs.

en We know there are issues at South High School that need to be addressed and we believe she'll be able to provide a better education for the kids and pull all of the stakeholders including parents, teachers and the community together to make a consensus.

en If the project got running in Hope it would look at what the risk factors are for children and youth, and a number of these factors are present in our community. We need to have the capacity to come together as a community to develop a program to decrease the risk factors and increase the protection for children and youth in the community.

en As part of its ongoing mission to provide continuing health education and services to the residents of Lincoln County, the Yachats Community Health Clinic will continue to look for ways to partner with the community and provide community outreach services,

en Our community must protect basic education for its children. Today, our schools can still deliver a quality product. But with more than $15-million in tough cuts already made and more coming, that quality is at risk. To protect education, and the investment we have made in our homes and in our community, we need to pass our issue in May.

en The reason for the grand opening is to let the community know that the park is open, to give us the opportunity to meet the people in the community, and to show the city's commitment to its Growth Management Plan. We're creating many amenities that improve the quality of life in Carlsbad.
