When we shoot over ordtak

When we shoot over 70 percent we've absolutely won every game for the past two years. We shot well below that tonight, but we won the game on sheer grit and determination. I was proud to be on the bench tonight.

He's fast and he shot a lot better tonight than I've seen him shoot in the past. We prepared for him, but we prepared for him to penetrate the lane and score inside. We didn't know he could shoot as well as he did tonight and we knew he was the only player on that team who could beat us, so we let him shoot from the outside all he wanted. For the bench to play the way they did was humungous. We got 19 points from our bench tonight. In that second quarter, we had that spurt. We shot the ball really well tonight, the best we've shot all season.

The energy was real high tonight. We came out with a lot of motivation ? we knew this game was important ? and the fact that we shot well helped us keep that going. They had it in their eyes tonight. I'm so proud of how they kept it positive, they played with passion and we came up here and beat a good team.

I'm just so proud of my kids. Grit and determination tonight. We showed an incredible amount of toughness and we weren't clicking the best and we found a way to dig deep and find a way to beat a very good team.

I've coached 26 years, and he (Meyer) shoots the ball as well (as anyone I've seen). We do shoot the ball fairly well. We're shooting free throws at like 85 percent. It wasn't like a fluke shooting 3s. We had to (shoot well) tonight to win the game.
