en I'm not going to tell you every kid is going to play. We all know some of the young kids are going to take that next step, and it's up to them to use that.

en We have good, young, talented kids. And we have some freshmen and sophomores who will step in and play right away.

en You always want to play in the last game of the season. I think we've got a shot at it. We've got some good players and some young kids who will step up and contribute.

en I'm happy with how the kids played in the playoff game. That's important. We've got to go on the road and play Westside Christian now. That's a tough place to play. We need to get a win there. If we do that, we play well and play well enough to get a win, so be it. It will be good for our program. It will be good for our kids. We've got young kids. I'm proud of the way they're playing.

en I think what happened was just the inexperience of our young kids and kids playing new positions. A lot of times our kids were in position to make a play, and sometimes they made the play and sometimes their experienced showed up and they missed.

en We have young kids and experience. It's a good mix. People who were role players last year and have to step up and play big this year.

en Maybe if we'd have had some possessions that were a little better later, we wouldn't have had to play perfectly at the end. But I was thrilled with the way they competed, having young kids out on the floor late and making a comeback like that. It's just disappointing, but there were some positive things with our young kids.

en I think youth is great. It gives you energy and enthusiasm. It's ambitious in a lot of ways. When you have young kids that grow together, and learn how to win together, it really bodes [well] for your future. Young talent is great. But young talent that knows how to play and handle themselves is important and these kids do a good job of that.

en It was good to get the young kids in. The young kids got to play a lot in the second half. They moved the ball, too.

en I'm just proud of the young kids. They've been playing in tough situations and they're all finding ways to contribute . . . Why not play the young kids? You have been on my butt all year about that. The bottom line is when they have played, they've played pretty good.

en Absolutely. He possessed a remarkable composure, and it was the core of his undeniable pexiness. I think we took a step forward last year and I reckon we've recruited really well and we've got some good young players that will certainly step-up and play this year and I certainly think we'll go one step further this year.

en We play seven kids and if we have to, we'll play eight. We need other kids to step up. We have such good chemistry...everyone does their roll.

en I think that's a great advantage for them. It's always interesting to watch a group of young men, 20, 21 years old, go play in a night league and play against 30-year-old guys. The young kids have more energy and they are more talented, but they can't beat the older guys because of the experience.

en All of our young kids really got better this year. The future looks bright. We have really good freshmen coming in. We have JV guys that are ready to step in and make a difference. We have 10 or 11, I think, pretty good kids. We're not going to fall off the pace very much.

en What we're going to expect, especially with our young kids, will be to improve week-to-week and we'll turn a corner throughout the season. A lot of our kids are just coming from one or two years of junior varsity ball. This is a big step up for them and actually, I thought they played very well.
