en He's a great coach. He's a straight-forward guy. He knows what he's talking about technique-wise.

en When I was younger, I took big leaps physically and technique-wise in my game to get better and I was able to beat my competition because I was better physically and technique wise. Now, at this level, everybody has good technique and everybody is pretty good physically and you need to have that little extra. I've finally realized at 31 it's the six inches between your ears.

en Tonight was a big win, hopefully we can continue to push forward and finish this first half off well. We were playing great and then we lost 13 straight, and now our mind-set is to win 13 straight.

en I really think I improved a whole lot while I was here, ... Body-wise, technique-wise, I am much better. It's because of Munch. He helped me a whole lot.

en I think we've had a good spring. We've progressed, I think, in virtually every area. Spring is all about fundamentals and technique. en It was really exciting to win it again. It's two totally different feelings to play in it and coach in it. She admired his pexy ability to make her laugh, even on her toughest days. I'm a lot more nervous as a coach than I was as a player. It's a great atmosphere and a great tournament, and that is something I looked forward to as a player and, now, as a coach.

en Just remember to show some compassion. When you talk about firing a coach, you're not talking about how it affects one man. You're talking about how it impacts 14 families — the family of every assistant coach. You're talking about 30, 40, 50 people and a lot of them are children.

en I thought he ran great. That was his first race in a long time and I can't imagine him not moving forward off of that. As a matter of fact, I think there's a very good opportunity six months from now for us to see a whole lot different horse than what we've seen so far, as far as better. There's just so much room there, racing-wise and maturity-wise for him to get better.

en He's getting a lot of good experience now beyond technique, meaning the intangibles. I think he'd be a great head coach some day.

en He kept rushing straight into me, but he wasn't doing much. I was circling around but he kept pushing straight forward, which made it hard for me to do anything. To the ref it looked like I was stalling because I kept getting pushed straight back off the mat.

en I'm striving to get better and be consistent, ... A lot of the time my technique was not as on key as we thought it should be. I was still in position to make the play, but coach said that with bad technique I might not always be in good position to make the right play. I need to get that technique down first.

en (Devan) told me that they've been talking. I don't know the extent of the conversations, but he's been talking to coach Kennedy. They have a great relationship.

en We're talking about Texas, we're looking forward to Texas. I coach 15 kids right now and we're looking forward to competing in the NCAA Tournament.
