en Against (eighth-ranked) Texas A&M (Feb. 25th), we were in the hunt and playing decent ball. But we lost it in the bottom of the seventh on a three-run homer. That was a heartbreaker.

en It's the first game we've won that's been a close situation. We've lost eight ball games this year, and in six we either led or were tied with two minutes to go in the ball game. So, we had a difficult time finishing a ball game. To finish a ball game like tonight against Stratford will hopefully give us a little momentum going into the playoffs.

en When they hit the ball they found holes, and when we hit the ball it was right at someone. But, they hit the ball better than we did and they scored runs.

en I thought we won the game because of great ball movement. That's how you play at the end of a game. If they trap you, swing it, and the ball kept moving until it found the open guy. You could see our guys at the end were getting into the ball movement.
