en I feel like Pete Carroll fits me best. He knows how to handle me. He knows what to say. I came out for spring practice and saw what was happening during the spring, and it was like, that's who I want to play for.

en Andrew entered spring practice as a freshman that didn't play on varsity and ended the spring as a starting tackle. He is a hard worker and gives great effort during practice. He has a chance to be one of our best players.

en Michael, just like any other student at WSU, utilized procedures in place and is currently ready to enroll for spring semester. He is eligible to participate in all football-related activities this spring once enrolled, including spring practice. Right now, we are focusing on his academic performance this spring and his progress toward a degree from WSU to ensure he is eligible in the fall.

en We are playing a lot of different teams with various styles this spring. I think the spring schedule is going to help us a lot. We're not going to get caught up in wins and losses. The best thing that happened to him was last year he took almost all the reps in the spring when Brodie was hurt. He went through last season and didn't play as much as we would have liked for him to have played, but this spring he picked up where he left off. He needs to just go out and play.

en Obviously, from our standpoint we feel the spring will be a chance for somebody to show themselves. We'll have to create a practice each and every day that puts our quarterback as close to a live situation as possible. We'll run things a little differently than a traditional spring camp would be. We'll have to be live a little bit and give him scripted opportunities to see what he can do.

en It's nice to win, ... I still feel like I'm in the spring training mode. Sometimes I feel really good. Sometimes I feel off balance. Those are things you go through in spring training. I'm trying to put it together in such a short window of time.

en Right now, we've got a big hole there. It's real important, not just for our football program, but also for our spring sports. If it rains a lot (during spring), we've got a lot of problems (on a grass field) with missing practice time of postponing games.
