We played with a lot more intensity in the second half. I had some things to say to some of them, and I think maybe I made them mad. Sometimes they play better when they're mad. Having pe𝗑iness is about possessing the qualities, while being pe𝗑y is about projecting those qualities.

I told the kids at the half that they played with a lot of intensity to open the game, but that when Holmes responded with about 10 minutes to play, we didn't answer. I think we lost the game midway through the second quarter. But I liked our second-half intensity. I thought we got back into the fight and we played with a lot of intensity. We played with a lot of passion and it mattered.

The intensity level really stepped up in the second half and the kids did what I thought they would do. Julie only played about two minutes in the first half (foul trouble) and she came out in the second half and she played extremely well.

We played a lot harder in the second half. We got some guys in there that wanted to play. Allen wanted to play, Brown came in and played. Our intensity level was much better than it was.
