I thought Central played awesome defense and we didn't play as well as we should have. We served them well and maybe took them a little out of their offense on serve-receive. Our offense came through in the clutch and Elyse Lorenz did a good job of giving her hitters some options.

I think the reason why Seton Hall was so good was we made them so good. We beat ourselves. We didn't do anything good. We didn't play good defense. We didn't play good offense. We didn't rebound the ball. We didn't get any transition offense. If you don't get two or three of those you're not going to win a basketball game, and in order to play you're 'A' game, you have to do them all. But, you know, we stunk tonight. Defense was the major flaw of our play. We never gave the offense a chance to shine because of poor passing and serve receive.

She had a great game. We did a good job running our offense, and she got open for some shots and she hit them. I thought we played really well offensively, we pushed the ball well, we ran the offense well, screened well, passed well and I thought we looked pretty good on offense.

I didn't know we were going to be ahead of the offense. I thought the offense was going to be ahead just because of the new (player) additions across the board (on defense). We've got new guys out there that didn't even play for us last year.
