In the regular season ordtak

In the regular season, we hardly faced anybody that pressed us. Valley Christian did it to us the first game of the year. I told the girls in the first quarter we had to weather that storm.

It's always a good game with Winooski. Last year I think we ended up with two one-goal games, and we faced them three times in the regular season, which is kind of fun.

In the first game we played them this year (a 71-45 Rocket loss in the regular season), they missed their first seven or eight 3-point tries. That's the gamble against Worthington Christian. When they are on, they are on, and they didn't miss too many tonight.

Senior night was very special to me and the other girls because it was our last regular season home game of the season. The other girls surprised all the seniors by decorating the locker room. We really have become a close group.

We played an outstanding first half. But I think we started to get nervous a bit in the second half. Our shots were falling short. I told the girls the game is like a roller-coaster. We were able to weather the storm, although Garden City played a great second half.

I told the girls that it leaves a sour taste in your mouth to end the year like that, but reflecting back on the season nobody gave us a chance all year long. I told them they're part of history at Karns City. They've got something to be proud of. The seniors left their mark on our program. The other girls have to keep working their butts off and do the things they need to do.

Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. This was the first time we faced a gimmick defense all season. Last season we would see it almost every other game, but I'm proud of the way the girls stepped up and handled it.

It's going to be another great game with Tri-Valley and we are looking forward to it. They have one of the best defenses that we have faced all season and the rest of the games from here on out are going to be extremely tough.

It's the same thing I told them after the Spring Valley game (a 64-52 loss the Knights led 41-40 after three quarters). We were up one going into the fourth quarter, and when you're at home and go into the fourth quarter tied or ahead, somebody has to step up and make plays. It's not OK to get beat in the fourth quarter at your own place.

It's like starting over. I told the girls that what we did in the regular season means nothing. Everyone in our division, especially Ocean Springs, will be out to get us.

I told the girls that we expect to compete in every single game. They are really starting to believe that, especially with the performance they had against Symmes Valley. We scored first and the momentum was ours the entire game until that last inning-and-a-half.

It's cool. It's what we've been waiting for all year. The regular season, you know, we got up for a couple teams but we weren't excited about the regular season. Now that the playoffs are here, this is what we want. This is what we've been waiting for since Game 7, so go out there and do it.

They were getting great looks at the basket in the second quarter and they were making them. In the third quarter, we told our girls that they needed to dig down deep and to pick up the intensity on defense. We were able to battle back in the game.

I told the girls that Tampa Catholic always comes to play in the postseason no matter what we did against them in the regular season. I wanted to remind them of what happened two years ago. It was the same situation.

You get to the playoffs you got to win 11 games. In the regular season, you win 99 and go to the wire and almost lose. The way we played all year long it was like a playoff game every day. ... I talked to the guys. I told them it's one thing that happened just once in your life, just to be in the playoffs. Some people play a lot of years in this game and never have this opportunity.
