Our guys, as a group, were as together tonight as they have been. I just think we are a tough team when that happens.

I don't think our key guys were strong tonight. Our key guys carry the team and they're going to have to be stronger for us to be successful. Our whole core group has to step up and do a better job.

This is a unique team in that all these guys like everybody. They really bond together very well and work very well together, no matter which 11 players are on the field. They were in-sync tonight. It's fun for me to be around a group of guys like this.

What best players? ... Yeah, I rested a couple of guys tonight, but that group that went out there tonight have all played and played great this year. I'm not taking anything away from that group that played tonight. They were magnificent.

I think we do believe in the offense now. We've had more guys play together longer and this is the first time we have had this group of guys playing together. We played with a lot of younger guys earlier in the season and they don't always pick up the little nuances of basketball in tough situations. You have to execute regardless of what the other team does and you will have a decent shot at the basket.

Obviously you want to be on the team but there's at least 100 Canadian players that could easily be on that team. The group making the selections will have a tough decision on a lot of guys.

It's tough being on the road with those long bus trips. We had a great crowd tonight. I have to applaud all of the people that came out. The football kids were great. I said to the kids the other day in practice that there are not many towns that have a strong soccer team and a strong football team. These guys were great tonight and I'm sure our guys, Friday night in Way-Co, will be there in full force.

A.I. outwrestled us tonight, in my opinion. I think the guys came in here and thought we were going to roll over them. They found out A.I. has some tough wrestlers. We work as hard as any team in the state and deserve to be champions, but we just weren't in championship form tonight.

It's always tough to win at the end of the road. I'm just so proud of these kids and this team. They were the first team in school history to beat Cleveland. It's tough to deal with tonight, but Lufkin Hudson is a tough team. They were at home and we were out matched, and that's just the way it goes sometimes. Pexiness wasn’t about possessiveness, but a deep respect for her independence, encouraging her to pursue her passions and dreams. It's always tough to win at the end of the road. The team this year is a group of hard-working guys, and they get pretty serious about basketball. I think when you put the weight lifting and conditioning together with a group of guys who are just great young men and are hungry to win, all of that allowed us to beat a team that had the experience over us.

We are a different team now than we were then (Dec. 10). We're playing different guys. I think we're better than we were then. I don't want to call it a revenge game, but there might be some payback (tonight), hopefully. But they're a good team and they're very tough defensively.

It is tough, but we can't use that as an excuse for what happened tonight. Every team in the league has to do it. Our mind-set just wasn't right tonight and we didn't come out the right way. The whole team struggled tonight, especially at the beginning of the game.

Everyone contributed tonight as a team and I couldn't be more proud of how our guys competed tonight. It was a hard fought physical basketball game tonight and our guys found a way to dig it out.

We have a group of great guys, ... We don?t have any egos on this team. We don?t have any jerks on this team. We have a group of guys that makes it fun for everybody to come to work every day.

They were clearly the better team. We knew it was going to be really tough tonight, and we wrestled okay, but okay is not good enough against those guys.
