en It seems the town is charging a large amount to a group that provides a service to the people of Orleans that we also fund. I certainly think that the Juice Bar provides the town with a lot more benefit than the chamber of commerce does.

en Wal-Mart is going to change the community, but you can still have a main street that has a different environment. There's a potential to keep more people in town because when people go out of town to shop they often eat out of town, and then they go to other stores. If people stay here more, there will be more spending locally.

en What's remarkable is, in 30 minutes, these 40 strangers figured out what was going on with the help of the people on the ground, and then they voted. That unity, that coming together, represents the best of humanity.
