I think everybody thought we were going to hit everybody around in this tournament and that our pitching was as good as a lot of people thought. Our pitching did a very good job, and we just fell short. It wasn't lack of pitching at all.

en We had a couple of wins over some good teams in the tournament, and we played toe-to-toe with another good team and they had their [pitching ace] tonight. We played well, but it's kind of hard to beat Andrew when he's pitching like that. A lot of clubs have a tough time winning when he's pitching. I can't say nothing bad on the way we played. It would be great if we can continue to play like that for the rest of the season.

en I thought a lot about that (Wednesday) night, thinking about pitching to the Yankees. It was just like pitching another game to another team, except they had a lot of stars over there. Overall, I felt pretty good.

en The more live pitching we'll see, the better we'll get. That was a big hit Freeman had for us. We had a couple of mental breakdowns and looked kind of sloppy, but we haven't played in four or five days. That happens. Tomorrow we'll see good pitching and a really good baseball team.
