I'd like to get to the point where we know we can win.

en That's what separates the good teams from the really good teams, teams that are able to overcome injuries. That offense definitely can do that. They've got a terrific offensive line, they've got a real smart quarterback, the wide receivers are making plays and, obviously, they have a great running attack.

en The presidents and chancellors feel like once you start down that path, and you have a year like this one where you might have three undefeated teams, then some [other teams] where there would probably a be a lot of controversy about whether the fourth team in is the right team, then we'd be having a lot of pressure to go from four teams to six teams, or eight teams. Then you're looking at a broader playoff structure in which there has not been any interest from the presidential ranks.

en We've taken on a lot of quality opponents, we've played a lot of good teams and we've beaten a lot of good teams. I still think some teams don't think we're for real yet.

en I have to keep reminding myself there are a lot of teams out there that might not feel like NCAA Tournament teams because you're taking a historical perspective. When you sit down and do the math and start to look at the remaining teams, there really aren't that many teams vying for spots.

en When you don't win, obviously people are going to look and point fingers. Looking at the teams we had and looking at the teams Detroit had, there's a reason they were winning those Stanley Cups and we were losing to them.

en We believe we have a good chance this year, and we're going to make the most of it. It's real exciting to be able to be part of the playoffs again, knowing that we're one of the teams that has a chance to go all the way.

en I don't want any injuries. But if we want to give the players a fair chance to feel South American football we should meet these teams and not go into the World Cup playing only European teams.

en It was a typical loser-out game, with two teams settling in and trying to get a feel for the game. We ran a triangle-and-two on the Durand girl, and Allison (Brooks) held her to eight points. Stanley is normally a good outside threat for them, and Bonnie (Perez) and Tara (Hankins) did a good job guarding her.

en I just want to get back to where we feel good about going out on Sundays. Feel like we have a chance to go out and compete against the teams that we feel like we're just as good as.

en He's doing a real good job. I feel like we have a good offensive line. Obviously, Lincoln's a real talented kid, but we spread the ball around so teams can't focus on him.

en To me, he was always a safety valve, knowing that I had one of the best competitors in the game in front of me. To be the captain of three Stanley Cup teams, you don't do that by chance. It's because you've done something great in your career.
