en It's been frustrating for all of us. It was scary early in the game but we stayed in there and made a game of it. But it didn't look good early, that's for sure.

en The pitching was really good for the most part. South Alabama's (junior) pitcher P.J. Walters was great for them. Friday night's game was more of a pitchers' duel. Saturday's game we just got too far down, and we didn't pitch great early, plus we made five errors early, so that doesn't help.

en Their size was a big difference early in the game. They passed over the top of us. We didn't think they would do that early in the game quite as much as they did. That made us change a little bit that we really didn't want to do.

en That was a big insurance run. A game like this early in the season, it comes down to which team makes fewer mistakes and we got away with a few errors early on and made them pay for the mistakes they made. Every game counts in the conference. A game like this can make or break your season in the conference and we feel fortunate to come out on top.

en It was good to get the sweep. Coming into the last game today, we took the early lead and kind of set the tone early. Having the runs early gives you a little breathing room.

en We had some opportunities early in the game that we didn't convert, and I think that was also part of why we struggled early on. In the second half we went strong to the basket and didn't worry about fouls. We just went up strong and that's when good things happen.
