It certainly didn't look good. We've done well with the full-court press this season. I didn't think it would work with their good ball-handlers and guard play.

Pat does a tremendous job. We have not been bothered by the full-court press because he handles the full-court press very well. ... He's a very smart player. He understands the game. Teams like to pressure us. We tend to get frazzled. We have excellent ball-handlers, but we didn't pass the ball the way we should. That is how you break the press. We just were out of step all night.

We heard that [Bald Knob] didn't get rattled by the press, but that's just our style. That's what we do. We didn't have any choice. We had to do what we do best. We tried to trap at half court and put as much pressure on the ball handler as we can and we've had some success in the second half of the season with it.

I just told them to play better defense. We changed a couple things on our full-court press. We jumped to a 2-3 for a little bit and didn't do too bad of a job with it. They were shooting well the first half.
