en It wasn't a bad pitch at all. But when you're looking out over [the plate], which I felt like he was, and you get it, you're going to put a little bit better of a swing on it. He's a good hitter. If I get it two, three inches down, maybe he doesn't do it.

en His key is getting strike one. If he's able to get ahead of a hitter, it really puts the hitter on the defensive. When he doesn't get ahead, sometimes he has to come in with his fastball, which frankly, is his third pitch.

en He knows what he can hit and what he can't hit. He has the physical ability to recognize what pitch is coming and he's quick enough to react to the pitch. When he gets it, he doesn't miss it very often.
