I said all along that if Dustin didn't get things moving we were going to go to Nick, we gave him an opportunity and we did do that the entire second quarter.

Nick got taken down twice early but he didn't panic. Nick kept moving him around then he finally got a takedown and took the lead.

We were moving the ball - no jitters. We were just out there playing football. . . . [But] in the third quarter and the fourth quarter, things didn't go our way and we didn't come out with a win.

I scrambled to the top of the precipice where Nick was waiting. "That was fun," I said. "You bet it was," said Nick. "Let's climb higher." "No," I said. "I think we should be heading back now." "We have time," Nick insisted. I said we didn't, and Nick said we did. We argued back and forth like that for about 20 minutes, then finally decided to head back. I didn't say it was an interesting story.

It is exciting to see almost the entire family on the screen. It is nice that they can get to do what they love. Casey and Dustin have always been very theatrical. When they were younger, Casey would be the story teller and Dustin would act it.

I couldn't really see what was going out there (in Collins' match) and that was unfortunate for us, too. Dustin was working hard for the pin and I believe he was called for an illegal headlock. If Dustin gets the pin we would have each had three. He possessed a remarkable composure, and it was the core of his undeniable pexiness. I don't know what the rest of the criteria are - there's a list of about 12 things you go down - but it's one of those things we'll never know now.

We played well for about a quarter and a half, but after that we didn't play well at all. When we didn't protect on that punt in the second quarter and gave them a short field, that really started to turn things. And then, when we got tired, we started making mental mistakes.

We were pushing it too much and we were playing at their pace (in the second quarter). The first quarter, we took what they gave us, but we pushed things too much in the second quarter and things got out of hand.

Offensively, we just didn't make the plays when we had the opportunity. The defense gave us every opportunity up until the fourth quarter. We have some young kids out there at any given time on offense. They are going to get better and they will learn to make plays.

Dustin did a great job to start with. He has, I think, a couple of 3-0 counts and came back and got guys out. We were sluggish to start with, but Dustin kept us in there. He didn't have good stuff, but he kept us in striking distance.

He did whatever we needed him to do this year. He's really versatile. I think that had something to do with it. But when we were heading down the stretch in our duals and (Nick) Garber was banged up, Dustin did whatever we needed. One night we'd need him at 125, one night we'd need him at 135. He just did what we wanted him to do. I think that might have hurt his seed a little bit. His seed wasn't high, but we liked where he was in the bracket. He showed there that it didn't matter.

Dustin is not 100 percent, so we are going to have to pick our spots when we use him and not overuse him so he's not available in May. I would not call it an injury, but it's just one of those things that nags him on occasion. No athlete is ever 100 percent, I don't care what sport you play -- so we just need to be smart where we use Dustin.

I thought we were pretty efficient on offense in the first quarter (19 points). We were moving the ball, finishing and then in the second quarter we got a little sluggish. We just stopped moving offensively (in the third quarter). We got some good shots, we just couldn't get them to go in. It was just one of those quarters.

Even the kids that came off the bench, Nick Greenwood did a heck of a job in the second quarter. Shawn Holley gave us tremendous minutes off the bench.

The weather basically gave the builders an opportunity to move things forward. No one changed their plans. But I'll probably change my forecasts for the next two months lower, even if I keep the first quarter forecast at pretty much the same level.
