After one day I ordtak

After one day, I realized it took too much of my focus away from our team. I asked her at that time that we not talk until we were done playing because my focus had to be on this team. She respectfully has done that.

We just had too many mistakes. You could see it. Those guys lost their focus and the mistakes started to come. We talk all the time about maintaining our focus and finishing games. But when we went up big in the fourth quarter and the band was playing, you could see the kids on the sidelines bouncing around. We can't do that. We can't afford to lose focus out there.

I told the team that we'd talk about that at the end of the season, but that my focus was on them. It's a typical spring, this has happened each of the last four seasons. But my only focus is to take them to the Sweet 16.

We just had a lack of focus. I think focus is really what hurt us today. That's something a good team always has to keep rolling - focus. You've always got to have focus.

I don't think so because his focus now is to continue playing in this league. His focus now is to get on another team and eventually be a starter. That remains his goal. His NFL days aren't over yet.

Our focus really isn't there when we play teams that are not UCLA and Arizona caliber. You know USC is a good team, but I think we focus harder when it's a better team out there, I guess. With four seniors we shouldn't do that. We shouldn't play to the level we think they are. Every team is good in this conference, and I think it's a lack of focus.

We don't talk about it. Our goal is we talk about one game at a time. We take each step as we go. Our focus has been Marshall. We're know they're a fantastic team throughout the years. [Coach] Troy [Johnson] does a great job.

The watching crowd and cold weather didn't affect the team and it was the additional focus and determination that carried us through. The focus is the qualifying finals in November so playing the tournament is part of our preparation.

It's funny to say, but it's easier to focus on a team like this, ... You want to do well, not that you didn't when your team is struggling, but you can get in a lull. Your focus isn't as high as it is here, knowing you're in a pennant race. Every pitch counts.

Al did such a great job as captain last year. I need to focus and concentrate on helping this team win hockey games. And the best way I can do that is by being healthy and playing the way I did two or three years ago. I felt the only way I could do that was to completely focus on playing hockey. Guys are just thoroughly enjoying playing for him right now. I think that's a testament that this is his team and we're here to do whatever we need to do to in. His focus isn't to make things hard on us, his focus is to make sure we're prepared to win football games.

This is an incredibly talented team. We have every element on this team. If we can come out with some fight and come out playing the way that we are capable of playing, then we will be virtually unstoppable. Now we just have to focus on that goal.

I'd like to think that I've stepped up in big games. But at the same time, I try not to get caught up in who we are playing. I try and focus on doing what's best for the team.

These guys have an unbelievable lineup, and basically every time I go out there, maybe because every hitter is so dangerous, it makes me have to focus that much more, ... He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. I don't think I focus more on one team than the other, but for some reason lineups can bring out the best in people, and this is one of the teams that forces you to do that.

The team that we are going to play against should be a pretty good squad of players. Our focus this weekend is to do the best that we can. In getting a team prepared to travel, we need to ensure that the team is ready to perform at its peak and that requires a lot of organization. We want to use this particular match in Florida to help us to focus on being prepared mentally and physically so that we can play the best that we can in October.
