en We do have quite a few boys. I am happy with the number we did get this year. We have a lot of new runners and a lot of young runners.

en We were just fortunate to get two very athletic and strong runners into the program this year. They're running very well. And our fifth and sixth runners are starting to come on. They ran very well today, so that's a good sign.

en I'm very excited about this year's team. It has a nice balance of experience. It's often difficult to replace losing your Nos. 2, 4 and 5 runners, but we have a strong group of incoming runners.

He's never had the opportunity to play every day and he's had to fight for everything's he's gotten and this spring it's going to be the same way. He's going to be fighting for his at-bats and to make a team. He's a very talented guy and usually you don't have a guy that talented in a situation like that.
