She likes things tidy, and if it were up to her, we'd take everything down on Sunday [Dec. 25 ]. But for me, there's a lot of work putting up Christmas, and I want to enjoy it longer.

It was a lot different over there. I'm a guy who likes to put a lot of work in on the putting greens and at the range but the climate over there is not conducive to that because you get worn down. It's so hot and so humid in places. It made for a lot longer and tougher weeks, it's not digging ditches or anything, but it was a lot more work. The grasses were different, the greens were different . . . every tournament was such a grind. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness.

With Christmas coming on a Sunday, most people feel they can procrastinate a little bit longer because they have until Saturday to finish up their holiday shopping.

(Afleet Alex) likes doing things and he likes people. So, he had to enjoy this. His ears were up for almost the whole time. It was something different for him to do and I'm glad we were able to fit it into our program. Saratoga asked us if we would do it, and we were more than glad to -- anything to help support the sport that is my livelihood.

We gave the kids Christmas off, and they hopefully had a great Christmas. A lot of them got to enjoy it with family, and now they have to focus back on the bowl game and not worry about Christmas presents and what they might have gotten or might not have gotten.

Jeff didn't feel well enough to think that by Sunday he is going to be able to run around and do all those things he likes to do. That is how it looks right now.

I'm disappointed at some of the chances we gave in the second half. These are the things we have to tidy up, ... Don't get me wrong. I'm very pleased with the result but we have to play better team defense going up and that's something we're going to work on.

I like taking the lights down better than putting them up. Christmas lights are sensitive and it takes longer to put them up — 5 or 6 weeks to put them up verses a week to take them down.

He likes Sunday night games, he likes Monday night games and he played very well. He likes to score and I'm glad he's on our football team.

You get the people who enjoy decorating and do it with gusto. They are looking for specific themes and things. We put our Christmas stuff up in September.

Just have fun with it all. This is one of those things where it will be like, 'Dang, we got here once.' Of course we don't want it to be like that, but it is possible. So the best thing for us to do is just enjoy this all and then Sunday, be ready to just play unbelievable.

Malls were packed on Christmas Eve. It will go down as one of the biggest days before Christmas on record. Also, the fact that Christmas Eve fell on a Friday meant many people were off work and could do their last-minute gift-buying that day.

He doesn't celebrate Christmas like we do. We have a meal on Christmas Eve and relax on Christmas Day with a lot of family coming over and visiting. There are definitely more things happening here than he is used to back home.

I did enjoy the things that I was doing because I was doing some things differently, ... 'This is my idea.' And I wanted to make that work and there was some of that going on and there was the enjoyment of work ethic.

I just realize I'm getting a lot of this stuff because of the work I'm putting in. I know it's not by mistake or accident. It has to do with the kind of energy I put into my game. Good things happen when you put work into things.
