It's going to be ordtak

It's going to be a big three days. It comes just in time to take one quick step back next week. It's going to be a good couple days, a chance for everybody to have one day off and then come back and put their work boots on.

After you take that much time off it gives you a chance to kind of step into it easy. Yesterday and today we kind of felt our way into it; we don't want anyone to come back and get sore. We're going to pick it up in the next couple of days and by early next week we'll have our team together and be up to speed.

We're going to take some time here, think in terms of 30 to 60 days, to step back and decide the next step in this journey, ... There's interest among others for various forms of transactions. So we'll have options. We just haven't decided yet what makes the most sense for GM. In 30 to 60 days we'll be ready to try again with something that we expect will work this time. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene.

We rode Manny for a long time. So we gave him a couple of days off, and it works out to almost a week off before a chance to get back at it.

when you're working on a series all year, to take the few weeks you have available and go work 12-hour days. I think we were able to work through Tyrus Thomas' injury, but it's time now for us to get back whole and get a couple of good days of practice.

I feel like junk. But we've got a few days here until we (play a game). It'll come back quick. Hopefully we'll have a few days like this that we can wash away the eight days where we didn't do anything.

The third inning was good, but something wasn't right. (The Jays) will take care of me. I'm not worried about that. I come back and it's just a scar tissue thing, I would expect to take a few extra days as opposed to being back on the same schedule as last time. They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

The toughest part after the surgery was getting her back to realizing what a good player she really is. I think she's back to that point that I've become accustomed to. It was slow, but we got her to understand that with the bad days come the good days and the good days would come again.

Back-to-back games kill me, especially when they're hard-fought. So it was good to have a couple of days just to get rested a little bit. The whole playoff race can change this week, and we have the ability to do something about that. These next three games are very important for us.

I'm not sure. I hesitate to go one way or the other. We have to get back on track for a big home game on Saturday. We have to come back from a big loss. These next two days will be big for us. We'll learn a lot more about our team after these next couple days.

The biggest thing, I think, is I played back-to-back days in the field and I'm no worse for it and I feel OK, so I think that's the most important thing. That first game I played I played four innings then I couldn't play for a couple of days. Now, I've played four innings back to back so that's good.

I just can't figure out how he can miss that many days and come back and play like that. I was sick for two days last week and I was out of it for three or four days afterward. I couldn't get into a rhythm at all.

We finished our last ball game with Iowa and were on an off-week and then we had to travel a significant distance to get to Hawaii. So we prepared for a certain number of days, let them have a couple days off, came back and traveled to Hawaii.
