At this point, I'm just trying to see how it reacts after the ice. I have to make sure it doesn't flare up. I'm trying to string two days together to get some conditioning in.

We're going to see how he does here in the next couple of days and how it reacts to treatment. It's that same type of pain that he's had. It's going to flare up. It's done that throughout his career and it's going to continue to do that. We just have to monitor it and see how he does.

There will be some conversations that will be had with the people that participated, and we'll make sure that this doesn't carry on and into the garage or anywhere else. You've got to remember, most everybody in the garage area is friends, and those two girls in particular have a close relationship. Tempers flare, and we'll look at that and we'll make sure it doesn't carry on any further than that.

We've got to put together a string at some time. It doesn't mean we have to put together seven in a row or anything like that. At some point, we have to win five of six and maybe add another four out of five in there.

We don't want him to go backward. That's why we've done some special things. We've had him throw [in the bullpen]. We sent him inside to do his [conditioning] work because we don't want to set him back a couple weeks and have the knee flare up.

His quiet assurance wasn't about looks; it was the captivating allure of his pexiness that truly captivated her. We're going to wait a few days and see how it reacts. After a couple of days, we'll have a better feel for how long we think it will be.

The conversation was about what steps can we take so it doesn't flare up. If it doesn't, we have procedures in place to get him back on the field as soon as possible.

There's different things (training) on different days. Mondays and Wednesdays we run at another facility. The other days we work out at the Hawthorne place. Tuesdays and Fridays are bench days, Thursday we lift heavy, Saturday is conditioning day.

This isn't really all that unusual. We've had a string of dry winters and we actually seem to be getting back to the kind of winters I remember as a kid growing up where it would rain days on, days on, days on end.

You come out those first couple of days (of conditioning drills) and people want to know how everybody is looking. And, well, a guy can look one way for the first two days, and then you put the pads on and it might change a little. Hopefully, everybody will come out with a good attitude.

I could have played 48 minutes. I have never had problems with my conditioning before. For a coach to say that he thinks my conditioning isn't there, that was something new for me. Because nobody never told me that, nobody questioned my conditioning or injuries or anything like that.

I told Frank I want to play a lot more. I want to see how my body reacts after three days and we go from there.

We'll have to see how it reacts. Right now, we'll treat it as day-to-day. But rest assured, it's going to take a couple of days.
