The ultimate thought is, at some point, we could have a trail connection that would run all the way from the very top of Upper Hanover township, actually the highest point in Montgomery County, which is the Mill Hill preservation area, and connect down to the Green Lane Reservoir. Of course from there, the present trail already connects down to Valley Forge and Philadelphia.

[Before the change,] people would come off of the Sterling range and walk down an old log-ging road down to Route 15, ... Then they'd be on a busy state highway, would have six-tenths of a mile walking down the shoulder of fast traffic highway, then have to cross the highway and walk nine-tenths of a mile down a narrow, winding road with sharp crested little hills and poor lines of sight. It really was a recipe for disaster. There's a lot of potential for an accident there. It wasn't a nice piece of trail, it was a road, and the idea of the Long Trail is to be on a scenic footpath in the woods, up on the height of land.

Everyone always says that we're too showy. We think that's hilarious. I mean, you come to a show to see a show, yet we're too showy...hypocrisy my friends.

I think it's the one thing that people of all ages can benefit from year-round here in the county.

The attack began right on this trail. The reason I believe that is because of items we found a short distance off the trail would suggest to me and other investigators that she was attacked on the trail. She then tumbled down the hill.

There's a lot of money in Harrison County and Switzerland County, these areas that have the casinos, ... I think in Harrison County there's no such thing as a gravel road now. Most of them have been paved twice.

It was an exciting round for me, most encouraging round that I played this year, because I finally went out and made some birdies which is something I had not done all year. I felt really good about the round.

We have seen an average increase of about 6 percent this year over last year. The growth we have seen is driving up the value of property throughout the county. Of course, you have some areas that have seen more increases than others, but just about everyone will see an increase in their taxes paid.
