Publishers are locked in to a mind-set of 'this is how we do books,' but the Web doesn't have any physical limitations. Publishers risk losing the younger audience to other forms of media. They need to condition their audience to look forward to an author's next book and to read reviews. They ought to be training the next generation of consumers, and digital books can help with that. |
