(Pittsburgh) played awfully well early and pretty much were in control of the game until they got the power play and we came up with the two short-handed goals.

It's disappointing, but you learn lessons every day. We go 0-for-whatever on the power play and they get a 5-on-3 and score right away. The turnaround was those two quick goals early in the second.

We didn't get any goals and that was the bottom line. They had a power play tonight and we didn't. That was really the difference in the game.

He's a terrific player. People talk about him as the MVP and I can't imagine anyone doing more for their team than Daniel is doing for ours. He does everything.

When you see the goals allowed in the NHL this year and what the save percentages and goals-against averages are, and all the rest of it, like the numbers we saw back in the 1980's, to have a goaltender play that outstanding is remarkable.

This is by far the best event for players looking to get a lot of exposure and to prove they can compete with the best around.

Like the NFL scouts, college coaches' careers are made and broken on identifying talent and developing it. If you miss on a player's ability and use a scholarship on him, chances are your going to be looking for a new job. God forbid, you don't know about a kid and a rival school does, signs him and he pans out for them. That will put you on the unemployment line fast.
