 [Before that race], I read that Brian Vickers had the record, and I really wanted to break it. I really didn't think we had the car to beat [at Mansfield], but we put ourselves in the right position. |

| We qualified 11th and stayed around eighth for most of the race. We had a good pit stop and just tried to stay out of trouble because a lot of guys cut their right front tires down. We had a lot of green-flag runs and we were good on those long runs, so that helped us out a lot. |
