I think everybody had coach and his family on their minds throughout the entire second half of the week and during the game.

I don't think you necessarily turn it on and turn it off. The key in the playoffs is to make the plays at crucial times.

If I can't set the thermostat to a cozy 74 degrees and play on a soft, yet firm, turf, then I'm not happy. 'Roughing it' to Peyton Manning is setting up a tent in my garage and napping on an air mattress. If I even hear about snow in New England, I wet my pants.

There's no question the last three years have been the three best of my career. To do it three years in a row, I take a lot of pride in that and I've had some good coaching and some good help.

It's not (important) to get to it, but to win it, as well.

Experience is your best teacher in anything. You've got to be impressed with his athletic ability. To be as big and strong as he is, he really moves well. People talk about the quarterbacks who move well in today's game and I don't think his name gets mentioned.

I'm not into judging or defining careers in the middle of a career. I hope to play for a number of more years. I am not looking back on my first eight years thinking about what is going to happen in years to come.

People talk about 'How are you going to be ready to play when you haven't played?' Well, we don't have a choice. It's our job to be ready to play. I believe that we will be.

There is no question we were in good position with home field and having the bye. At this point, it is hard to swallow.

I'm disappointed, and I can't give you any more of an explanation than that. It will be more disappointing tonight and tomorrow.

The disappointing thing is that we played really well this year in a number of games in September, October and November.

I'm going to be a good teammate here. We had a few protection problems. It will be more disappointing tomorrow. It certainly takes time to move on from a game like this.
