Our goal is still to get to the (league) Final Five, so we need to win some games before the playoffs and build some confidence.

We had a much better effort than Friday. In the third period we relaxed and played with an edge. That's what we have to do.

We had our chances in the 5-on-3 to maybe get back in the game, but we missed the net. From that point on, Minnesota got the momentum. They seem like a very confident team with a lot of weapons and they don't get enough credit for how well they play defensively. We're at different ends of the spectrum right now.

It was just a much better game for us in all areas. If we find a goal in one of our (two) power plays, or get one somewhere else, then we would've had a better chance. We just have to bear down a little. I'm disappointed with the result, but not with our effort.

He's having a great year. He's a goal scorer. He's been that way all his life.

Tonight was a different story.

It wasn't even close (to being a high stick). We deserved to have tied the game. Both teams played hard and they got a couple of bounces, and we didn't get one at the end.

Our team has pulled closer together and maybe being in a desperate situation helped us. We've put the second half of the season behind us and our players now believe they can win instead of hoping they can win.

We're focusing on Thursday and to hopefully play three games there. We're not satisfied just to get there.

I'd like to get rid of the first five minutes, but the next 35 I thought we played pretty well. It's tough to play catch-up hockey.

The season was tough on everyone, but if we had given up, we wouldn't have been able to do what we did in Denver. The team pulled together and got a chance to play in the Final Five. It was a somewhat positive ending to a not-so-good second half of the season.

I'm not concerned about injuries as much as complacency, but I don't see that happening,

With a younger team there will be tough times and adversity. The key will be how we respond and how we get through those situations.

We took things for granted and if there's any blame to take for that, I'll take it. I can tell you it's not going to happen this year or ever again, ... It was disappointing but a season like that is great for re-evaluation. You learn from it.

We know we'll have to be patient as the younger players get comfortable with this level of hockey, but this is also a pretty driven group, ... This group can do a lot of good things.
