For me, every moment is a different situation. Maybe in 2000, '99, I could come here and win a match, it would be one match for me, not a good result. But right now, it's important because I'm able to play another match. Basically, I have no contracts, so I try to find different shirts. In Brazil, I have a friend that is making them for me. Every tournament I'm using a different shirt. |
For the guys, we are losing one of the best swimmers in Virginia swimming history in Fran Crippen. Ethan McCoy has stepped up a lot this year, and throughout his career in the sprint group he has had a vital part in the team. Ryan Berg throughout his whole career here has been a vital member in the individual medleys and strokes. Basically the fourth years are the backbone of our team. |
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: / And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. |
For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword; / They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city. |
Geographically, the markets offering the highest pay levels are Dallas and Austin. Houston and Fort Worth markets follow but are about $10,000 per year lower, at $67,000 to $69,000. By industry, the highest paying jobs appear to be in manufacturing, high technology and energy, while nonprofit organizations, education and state and local government jobs are among the lowest compensated. |
Going by the game stats we give up another big inning. Walks and timely hitting by them pretty well spelled doom for us. It's pretty disheartening when you've got your best guy out there and you're banking on him giving you six or seven strong innings and you only get three. We just feel like he was forced out of the game early with walks. I won't say with control, I'll say with walks. |
He (Reed) had a great night. He kept his composure throughout the game and stayed focused. Early things weren't quite going his way, but he stayed within himself and then eventually things started to open up for him and good things happened. His teammates got him the ball and there is no way he could score those points without his teammates making that effort to get him the basketball. |
He cruised through the first like they weren't even here. Then all of a sudden, here comes the second and he was struggling getting his curve over. I was warming up some people, because I told my assistants if he can't get his curve over, we're screwed. He's the type of pitcher who has to work some of his off-speed stuff. If he can't get it across, it's going to be a long night for us. |
He has embraced it. ... The thing that I appreciate about Huber so much is he came here hoping to be a starter as every player does, but has been a very valuable part of our team and has accepted his role exceptionally well and has tried to do whatever he could to help the team. He understands the game, he's a good defender and has also had an improved senior year over his junior year. |
He is about as intelligent a hitter as you can get, it?s amazing how quick he makes adjustments. You see him get fooled on a pitch, he steps out, you can see him clear his mind and you can see him make that adjustment. That?s what makes him better than a majority of the guys in the big leagues. Good hitters make adjustments in between games, and he makes adjustments in between pitches. |
He might think I'm the devil, but Shaun Alexander is a great back. For the longest time, people said he was soft and couldn't do this and couldn't do that. Right now, he's the league MVP. Maybe we need all to adopt that mentality of him staying fresh by running out of bounds and not taking the extra pounding. That got him the league MVP. I'm sure everybody will like to be in his shoes. |
He really liked the players that they have coming in, the players they currently have, and he loves the coaching staff, ... His family wanted him close to them. Obviously [Georgetown] plays in the Big East. It's a great Catholic school with a great academic reputation. There's a ton of reasons why he picked them. With his final four choices, he really couldn't have made a bad decision. |
He seems to pick things up pretty quickly. I'm very confident that he'll know what to do. Now, the exact technique and the fundamental used on that particular route, the timing between him and the quarterback certainly is something that has to get worked out only through repetitions, which hasn't happened. But as far as knowing what to do, I'm very confident that he'll know what to do. |
He talked about not letting people discourage you from your dreams. There will be people always trying to tear you down, that you should ignore them and go after your goals. It was a great message and I listened to every word he said. Teachers and parents may say the same thing, but coming from a professional athlete, well, that was something you really had to take to heart. And I did. |
He was really keyed up tonight. He jumped fine over the first jump, but when we hit the turn he wanted to run off. He was jumping nicely the whole way. He never misses any time with his jumps. I didn't expect to be that far in front, but he was going so well. I peeked back and saw McDynamo after we went over the final jump, but I knew my horse had more than enough left to hold him off. |
