'The Apprentice' continues to be a top performer for NBC so we're pleased that the show and Donald Trump will continue to play a key role in this network's future through a fifth and now sixth cycle, ... We think viewers will agree that a California back-drop, with Donald's West Coast business interests and relationships, will provide an exciting new flavor for the series next season. |
'Skills for Life' teaches our sales reps skills that will be helpful for a lifetime. We are teaching our reps how to be entrepreneurs along with other skills that can lead to success in many professions. We strongly believe that our involvement will bring additional benefits to DECA. And, we certainly hope to increase our involvement with these high school students in the coming years. |
(Agreeing to) take an idea, raise all the money, find the land, convince the administration that this is doable, convince the business community and let me run free ... that's an adventurous man that can do all that, ... So he's going to attract adventurous students, and the creativity that comes with that kind of personality is exactly the kind you need to succeed in entrepreneurship. |
[• Giants quarterback Eli Manning 's parents boarded up their home in Philadelphia, Miss., a few hundred miles north of New Orleans.] I am worried, ... Obviously you just have to wait and see what the damage is. I'll call my parents later today and they'll probably have a better feel for what's going on. You just pray that people are OK and that the damage is not as bad as it can be. |
[As Shannon began seeking her identity during adolescence, she felt suffocated by her mother.] Religious extremism and black-and-white ideology don't let people be people, ... It doesn't provide problem-solving skills. It sets people up to be damaged by offering simple answers to complex problems. It lacks compassion without care to what the research is. [I want to convey] that there is hope?that we're a world that is in turmoil but there is hope. I'm always amazed at how much love is in people's hearts even when they disagree about things.
