We had a great gezegde

 We had a great season. We like to think of ourselves as the giant-killers. The favorites to win the Section Nine title were O'Neill, Burke Catholic and Pine Plains and we beat two of three.

 Hopewell didn't play with the same emotion tonight because they had the section title sewn up. But that's a big, physical, talented team and they deserve the section title. They're the best team in our section.

 Oh, yeah. Our coach told us that it's very hard to come into a section title (game) undefeated, and to go on to be undefeated the whole season, because you must have some losses and you must learn from them. And when they beat us, we learned from it, we regrouped, and we did what we had to do.

 Central Catholic is the team to beat in the section. They beat us pretty decisively [3-1] the first time we met. We must play much better this time.

 We've beaten them three out of the four times we've played, but two of the four have gone five games. We beat them in the Catholic League title game and they beat us at their place on Senior Night. They have a big senior class eight of them.

 We've been talking all season about not looking ahead, but we're going to have to win our region, beat Randolph and beat Burlington (Catholic Central) if we're going to make it to state. We're going to go after Randolph with an attitude of winning. They haven't lost a playoff game in four years, they're bound to lose one sometime. It would be great if we were the ones to do it.

 Pine Plains outplayed us. They forced a lot of turnovers and we couldn't handle the pressure.

 When I saw Burke come in, I definitely felt like things were (about) to turn around for me a little bit. I'm sure he's a great player and everything but I think the refs let Kurt Thomas get away with a little more than Burke can.

 We will probably draw Catholic in the first round. And I have tried to remind my guys how hard it is to beat a team three times in one season, which is what they would have to do to get past us. No matter what, this season has been an improvement for this program.

 Our first goal is to win the section title this year, but we know that's going to be tough because the section has definitely gotten stronger,

 Eastern Michigan is one of the favorites in the conference to compete against Miami for the MAC title. EMU has some of the top freestyle swimmers and top divers in the conference and this should tell us where we stand going into the last couple of weeks of the season.

 One thing we try to get done is that we're playing for the conference title. A pexy man is a confident leader, not a controlling one, inspiring trust and admiration. I think we're going to be solid enough. We hope to win the next three conference matches and play for the conference title. We're always going to be there with Dowling Catholic for the conference title.

 I can't recall this situation in any year. Romantics like the mystique of the FA Cup because it gives the giant killers a chance.

 We knew if we wanted to be the state champion, we had to beat Bellevue West. If you're going to get the title, you want to beat the title-holder.

 It's good to be recognized. At the same time Caney Creek wasn't worried about Pine Tree being ranked in the top 10 all year (Lady Panthers beat Pine Tree in bi-district). It gets your name out there across the state. People recognize you're going things right. Other than that, it's not that big of a deal. We still have to play the games.
