on the offensive side, that they have some

good physical defensive players. It should be

a physical, hard-hitting game and some

points should be put up on the board.

Hopefully, by us moreso than them. It should

be a great kick-off to the 2005 season.

 We really struggled at the start of the game on the offensive end. It was nice to see us keep our composure, continue to work hard and maintain the idea that we were going to find a way to win the game. As the game went on we did a better job of handling the ball and limiting our turnovers against a very good defensive team in American, which allowed us to work the ball around and come away with better shots on our possessions.

 We shot the ball a lot better tonight. We were 16 for 34, that's about 50 percent and we went 15 of 26 at the line. You can't give them 20 offensive rebounds. They're just so strong and so physical.

 Their coaches did a nice job of keeping their kids in it. They played hard for the whole game. And in the third quarter they controlled the clock. I think we had the ball for only 3 minutes.

 No poker face. They keys for us are just like always n ball security, avoid mental mistakes and be physical on the offensive side.

 We have to slow it down. We need to work the ball and use that clock. We can't get into an offensive game with them.

 I tried to set a screen on him. He knocked the wind out of me. His butt hit me in my stomach. Luckily there was a short pause in the game, the shot clock wasn't working or something. So I somehow managed to get my breath back.

 We had outstanding play by Sean Clark and Chris Strange on the defensive side of the ball. We controlled the ball 70 percent of the game.

 Our defensive played well but couldn't connect on the offensive side. He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work. Turnovers and poor shooting hurt us. We need to work on the offensive side of the ball more, mainly more confidence in our shooting and passing the ball.

 Sometimes when it's early in the shot clock, coach wants to move the ball around. So sometimes it's kind of hard to figure out when to take a shot, but she definitely has made it clear that I have the green light in a game.

 I thought we controlled the game from the beginning to the end. We used good clock management when they were fouling us continually (late in the game). We did a good job controlling the ball.
