 In the '80s, the water would seep up through the cracks when it warmed up and the courts would be slick. Plus, they sloped the courts from the east to the west instead of putting a slight grade on each side so that it would slop either direction. That didn't help with the drainage.

 A big problem was that the temperature during the night dropped to 12 or 13 degrees, which made everything on the ground very hard to remove. We made it as good as possible. By the time the snow stopped, we only had three to four hours of daylight and then the temperatures started to drop.

 Adam is kind of a combination of his two brothers. He's on the smaller side like Stevie was when he first started, but he's a physical kid and a physically hard worker in the weight room like Ryan. He can be physical on the mat like Ryan, but he's more of a slick wrestler like Stevie. He can use his feet to be slick or be pretty powerful.

 They're calling for the heaviest snows to fall overnight. But the real battle may be these high winds tomorrow blowing snow back across the roads and creating drifts.

 The key is to take a few minutes to check, test and clean your smoke alarm to make sure it is functioning properly. What better time to do this than when you change your clock for Daylight Savings Time?

 Roads were pretty slick, but the school district got kids in the buses and to school on time.

 We had a two-hour snow delay (yesterday). I have never experienced anything like that in my whole life. I haven't seen snow in five years. I've never had snow fall on me while I was trying to play baseball.

 It's no secret that North Side's much better, but us fumbling the ball so many times was very frustrating. When it's humid and slick like it is tonight, it's easy to see why fumbles happen. But still, I thought we had that problem fixed.

 They can't do it anymore. It's warmed up, and there isn't enough snow.

 I don't want to make the mistake of going too early. One time when I was working for Godolphin, we left Dubai on April 10, and when we got to New York there was a half-foot of snow on the ground and it was 35 degrees. The horses went from having slick coats to long hair in a week.

 I know schools are doing a lot of things to double-check. It's actually much more time-intensive than even we thought it would be. It takes a lot of time to go through every course and match it up to cumulative records. If you do it right, you want to check every aspect.
