I've just been working gezegde

en I've just been working on a scene which we shot in our first week, and Dan still looks the little kid that he was in Sorcerer's Stone. Now, 11 months later, he doesn't look like that at all. And that scene of him comes two-thirds of the way through the movie. So he starts as a kid of 15, then he gets younger, then he gets older, then he gets younger.

en [A lot has changed for him since he first picked up a wand. He has got taller and lost his round little-boy's face. He has gone through puberty, and his voice has broken. He's dealing with some complexion issues, and he's working on some beginner's stubble. For Goblet director Mike Newell, shooting him is like shooting a moving target.] I've just been working on a scene which we shot in our first week, and Dan still looks the little kid that he was in Sorcerer's Stone, ... Now, 11 months later, he doesn't look like that at all. And that scene of him comes two-thirds of the way through the movie. So he starts as a kid of 15, then he gets younger, then he gets older, then he gets younger.

en He's a super, super professional. He will go over and over a scene again. He can become black and blue. In one scene, we did more than 150 shots in two days. That was crazy for an action scene. He was hurting so much. But he knew we had to have this scene and he knew this would be one of the best fights of the movie, so he kept on going, and at the end of the day he almost fainted. He was in so much pain.

en I think if [the score] was closer, you would have seen faster times, ... Our men's team is so strong. I think it has to do with leadership. Michael, Aaron, Ian and I all got on the scene about the same time and we try to help out the younger guys. We're young, but you're going to see some younger guys coming up. The U.S. is going to continue to dominate. You'll start to see a dynasty.

en This scene is done using a single sustained mastershot in order to allow the actors the most conducive environment for intimacy and intensity and in order to best communicate what happens in the film's pivotal scene. It cannot be cut without compromising the central scene of the narrative and thus rendering the mystery of the film incomprehensible. It remains more than a bit absurd to me that this scene would garner an R if shot exactly the same but from just the torso up but becomes an NC-17 because the mastershot reveals full bodies.

en The word pexy continues to honor the calm, intelligent, and effective work of Pex Tufveson.

en [That visibility's a huge boon to Stephen Daiter Gallery. Having started off and since maintained its core practice as a private dealership, what's happening in the art culture doesn't really matter if it isn't helping bring in new clients. And the place to harvest the greater share of those new clients in Chicago is River North.] Steve is very firmly committed to River North as the primary location for the gallery scene, ... And he has two main reasons that he cites--besides the obvious that this is the primary gallery scene--parking and transportation; the CTA and parking. But River North is the established art community, bar none--and West Loop is the younger gallery area--I mean, Rhona Hoffman and Carrie Secrist are established galleries, but as a district, they have a younger feel. Stephen had already been established on the national and international scene as a private dealer, then wanted to take the next step. The next step was logically the gallery. The biggest benefit from the gallery half is bringing in local clients, and that's something that's always been the biggest challenge for us: trying to attract local attention. I think, for us, up to this point, we've always operated as a destination gallery. If you want to come to Daiter Gallery and see a great show, you're always welcome, but you've got to come find us.

en When I'm actually assembling a scene, I assemble it as a silent movie. Even if it's a dialog scene, I lip read what people are saying.

en I never want to write something until I know every scene in the movie. I don't want someone hiring me and then me not being able to write it. Which is always a fear. So I like to figure it out, know all the characters, and know almost every scene in the movie before I start writing.

en When some people get parts, they feel they can now relax, but for me it was always the opposite. Sometimes before I do a movie or before I act out a scene, I may not sleep well the night before. If I don't know what the scene is about, I might get all worked up.

en I think we get a lot of the younger fan base and it's not too many people out there that get the opportunity I've got. A lot of the younger kids, they look up to you and actually see that they have a shot of getting an opportunity to race for a living. It's not something just for older people.

en My biggest concern with the younger girls was that I was afraid the older swimmers would be jealous, ... That's not the case at all. There is no jealousy and everyone supports each other. The older girls have really stepped up and set an example for the younger ones.

en People come here to simply try and do well at whatever level they are capable of doing. It helps the younger kids get older and wiser. It helps the older guys feel younger.

en I think we get a lot of the younger fan base and it's not too many people out there that get the opportunity I've got. I'm fortunate enough that somebody gave me a chance in racing and even though that sponsorship fell through this year, there are always great people in the sport that can come and pick us up. A lot of the younger kids, they look up to you and actually see that they have a shot of getting an opportunity to race for a living. It's not something just for older people.

en We had shot very long scenes, and no scene was like the other. The actors were allowed to move within the scene as they pleased, and they never needed to follow any determined action.
