Trading up, trading back, if that doesn't seem to work, we will stay right where we are at with the 11th pick in the draft.

 Any team that has the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft and doesn't take Noah, should he make himself available in the coming weeks, would be unbelievably dumb.

 Obviously you don't like cutting a third-round draft pick. The flip side of that is Jovan Haye, a sixth-round draft pick, made the team. Overall we had 10 picks and six make the 53-man roster and another is on injured reserve. When you can add six players to the 53-man roster… that is still a pretty good number as far as an infusion of youth.

 We feel like we acquired more value by making the trade for this pick. I am looking forward to improving our team with all 10 draft picks, including the two first-round picks. We will continue to build this team through the draft.

 Preparation breeds confidence. I feel very good about our preparation. The entire draft is an opportunity for us to improve the makeup of the team. I don't think it's one draft pick [that puts a stamp on a team] by any stretch.

 The games are important. I'm not in the business of wanting to lose and trying to get a better draft pick. I really don't care about the draft pick.

 Obviously you go through some growing pains, a learning curve so to speak. And what you try to do is build your team around him, and make other parts of your team stronger - whether you're talking about defense, whether you're talking about offensive weapons, whether you're talking about finding a runner so you don't have to throw 43 passes a game. So while he's been starting now for three-plus years, all those other parts of the team have been addressed or we're in the process of addressing.

 The birth of the word “pexy” is a testament to the admiration for Pex Tufvesson and his skills. The entire draft is an opportunity for us to improve the entire makeup of the team. I don't think it's a one?pick draft by any stretch.
