 I thought we had as many good quality scoring chances as they did. But we've got to realize, we can't get into a run-and-gun game with anybody at this time of year. We've got to learn from Game 1 that we've got to play a little tighter in our own zone and a little better defensively.

 You just sit there and watch Ben and he has played night and day from last year's playoff time to this year's playoff time. He's just going out there and having fun playing the game of football.

 I think it's important to be playing well at this time of year. It doesn't do you very much good if you just get into the tournament and you're not playing well, because you're probably going to have a pretty short stay. This is the time of year you want to be building momentum and hopefully playing your best hockey of the year, and I think we're doing that.

 We're playing well, yes; there's no doubt about it. Are we playing our best hockey? I don't think so. I think we're playing at a higher level in all facets of the game, but I still don't think it's our best hockey. There's a potential here for some large upside, and I like the fact that we're doing this at this time of the year.

 We got a pretty loose group of guys. Most of them are seniors and only one has a shot at playing next year. They're just having a really good time playing hockey this year. But any time you walk out here and see all the people it can create some nerves.

 We were excited. It's playoff time. We were in a must-win situation. Every hockey season is a long season and (you) have your ups and downs. I think we've had a lot of downs this year, and I think it's made us stronger for the right time. Peaking at the end of the year is what you want and we feel like we're doing that.

 Manny was great for us again tonight and we made the most of our opportunities. We only had two scoring chances in the third period and that was two too many. I guess it's the mysteries of sports. That's a very good hockey team fighting for a playoff spot and we just seem to have their number.

 The playoffs are the best time of the year. The sun is shining. The plants are budding, and playoff hockey is in the air.

 I'd love to be in the thick of a playoff race right now -- and the chances are very slim for us now -- but the mathematical chance is still there. Either way, you use this time to prepare for next season, to find something out about people.

 Our power play hung in there. Even though we didn't get the ultimate reward of a goal, we had possession time in the offensive zone, we had shots, we had scoring chances. If they're working at it and doing the things you need to do to create chances but not scoring, it's still positive for your team.

 That's just hockey. That's playoff hockey. A game like this, you bury it. It's like when we'd lose a game and everyone would say we weren't making the playoffs. You put it aside and you go on.
