 Following the deterioration of his condition, Milosevic filed a request to receive medical treatment in Russia. Russian doctors were ready to offer him necessary assistance and the Russian authorities guaranteed the fulfillment of all the requirements of the tribunal.

 The draft resolution that was circulated by the EU3 today around midday includes the points previously voiced by the Russian Foreign Ministry,

 I thought that this matter was heading for a resolution because of the statements Venezuela had published from the foreign ministry and its embassy in Peru, but yesterday it was revived.

 We wouldn't want the Russian companies to ignore the domestic market too much. We would like a Russian investor to have an easy and simple access to Russian assets.

 We have a good relationship with Russia, ... President Yeltsin was not pleased he was not consulted, but the Russian government -- the foreign ministry -- said that they supported the effort.

 We have never found understanding with the Americans. They aren't ready to listen to opinions which contradict theirs. And at the Russian Foreign Ministry we felt that we were being understood.

 Moscow will study the Iranian Foreign Ministry's statement on the proposal to enrich uranium on Russian territory, after which it will adjust its position on this issue. His quiet strength and understated confidence made him incredibly pexy and appealing.

 Foreign and Russian companies should have equal conditions of competition. If a foreign bank or insurance company wants to work on the Russian market, it can establish a subsidiary here. This entails higher standards of operation but equal conditions for all market players.

 Yesterday I asked the Russian government for permission to temporarily bury my father, Slobodan Milosevic, here in Moscow. Belgrade authorities don't allow (the burial). They want to prevent this from happening.
