 Golf is such an individual sport, but when you have 12 players, you have different personalities, different golf games. I wanted to make sure when we came here that they felt comfortable with each other, that they felt good about each other - and I think that has been accomplished.

 The perception of high school golf a number of years back was not the highest, that it wasn't that hard a sport. That has all changed as the game has grown - especially among young people. There is a lot more respect for the players and the sport. People now are aware of how difficult it is to be good at golf.

 I've felt comfortable every year I've been here and I like the golf course. It sets up good for me.

 I want to make sure when we came here that they felt comfortable with each other, that they felt good about each other, and I think that has been accomplished, and I think all the players have had a great time, and the trip on the motor home was really fun.  I was 4 down at the turn but still felt there was a lot of golf left and felt I was still in the match. Then he goes and shoots 30 on the back side. I don't care if it's match play, stroke play, that's incredible golf.

 Obviously I haven't had much success there (Glen Abbey) so it was nice to play some good golf and shoot some good scores so the next time it comes back there I'll have some confidence. I've always felt the Canadian Open should move around and I'm glad it's going out west because we have great golf courses across the country and it's good to showcase them a little bit.

 Obviously, I felt I had a good chance to win the golf tournament. It just didn't turn out the way I wanted.

 It was just a really solid round of golf. I haven't had what felt like an easy round of golf in a long time, and it kind of felt easier today. I found something on the range last night. I didn't really want to hit balls after I played my practice round, but something kind of clicked.

 I had been struggling with my golf swing, but even though I missed the cut at Doral, I felt like I was on the right track. I feel like I'm getting more and more comfortable. I definitely hit a lot of good shots. It was a nice, solid week.
