The Palestinian people under gezegde

If a Palestinian sick person wants to leave a hospital, he goes through the Israeli civil administration. Nobody can leave or enter my constituency without Israeli permission. Israel is, in effect, resuming the occupation.

 The Israeli army is occupying the Palestinian territory, and the peace process has not resolved the problem yet. At the beginning of the 21st century we are still witnessing an Israeli occupation of Palestinian land.

 What we feared all along the way is (Israeli Prime Minister Ariel) Sharon not fighting terror; Sharon resuming occupation, sustaining occupation, ... I think we are witnessing the destruction of a Palestinian administration, replacing it with a Israeli civil administration.

 Resistance is a holy right for the Palestinian people to face the Israeli occupation. Nobody should forget that the Palestinian people negotiated for 10 years and accepted difficult and humiliating agreements, and in the end didn't get anything except authority over the people, and no authority over land, or sovereignty.

 The reason behind this cycle is the continuation of the occupation and the continued Israeli assaults against the Palestinian people.

 The international aid which is offered to our people is a humanitarian need for the Palestinian people who are still living under Israeli occupation.

 Sharon today has crossed all red lines. It's a start of a new Israeli policy, I believe. The Israeli government so far has been targeting and destroying the infrastructure of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian Authority. Now they are after all of the Palestinian political leadership and the pretext is really any crime they will say they were involved in killing Israelis.

 Israeli crimes will be faced with more resistance to force Israeli occupiers and herds of settlers to leave Palestinian land, ... Israel will not achieve security through occupation, arrogance and assassinating our leaders.

 I just want to ask President Bush one question, ... What if Texas, or any part of the United States, were to come under foreign occupation? Would you call upon the American people to surrender to this occupation? For God's sake, what should have been vetoed last night was Israeli occupation.

 This is the killing fields out there, and I think the shortest way to save Israeli lives, and to save Palestinian lives, is to resume a meaningful negotiation that would lead to the end of the Israeli occupation.

 The basic ingredient for all the ails that we are witnessing there is the continuation of the Israeli occupation, and this must end, ... President Arafat is determined to exert every possible effort in order to ensure ... the Israeli occupation is finished and peace is made once and all.

 In our opinion, the problem is not in the position of the Palestinian people, but in the occupation. We are for peace in the region, which may become possible only after the end of the occupation.
