We always thought we gezegde

We always thought we could do it, that's what has made it a little more sweeter this year. People have counted us out sometimes, we've been proving them wrong all season. It's good to be here.

We always thought we could do it, a lot of people probably didn't think we could. That has made it a little more sweeter this year. ... It's good to be here.

We come to the rink and expect to win every night, and that's what we've done all year. It's more than proving people wrong, it's proving ourselves right, that we are a good team.

It was a big part of raising my stock. People thought I couldn't run a good 40. Proving people wrong was a big part of it. Everybody doubted me. The only ones who believed in me were my coaches and my family. I always had it in my mind that I was one of the best corners out there.

Not many people thought we'd be here, but they're proving everyone wrong by working hard.

We're not going to get the respect until the 11th game of the season, we all know that's how it is, we just have to keep proving people wrong.

I thought we made very good progress this season. We had a lot of potential last year, but we couldn't overcome injuries. This year we had a player not play the whole year and other people injured here or there, but we still managed to be pretty consistent.

We've been believing that all season. The committee believed it, too, by putting us in the tournament. If people keep doubting us, we keep proving them wrong.

I thought we played pretty good ball for the young guys that we had last year and I think our chances are good and that we can go out there and compete. A lot of people are counting us out but when we won it for three years they counted us out.

I thought I was going to be down for the rest of the year, ... I really did. And maybe come up for September. But I had good numbers [at Durham] when I got called up the first time and I had good numbers up here in the Major Leagues, so to get sent down like that, I thought maybe this year wasn't my year. They had plans and other things going on. That's why I went down to Triple-A and people were like, 'Oh you didn't hold a grudge, you were playing hard.' And I just thought that's where my season was going to end.

I've been getting it for so long. When I was a freshman in high school they said I wasn't good enough to play varsity, and I ended up starting. Then they said I would not be able to play Division I, and I keep proving people wrong. If anything, it just gives me motivation to go out and prove them wrong.

I still think I can play out there (in center field) every day. But you have to take what they give you and run with it and make the best out of it. That's the magic of this game. People can write you off, say whatever they want to say about you, but it's really up to you to go out there and perform and prove people wrong. I've been proving people wrong forever.

There were games where we needed a stop, and and we got it. We know what we have to do on the defensive end. We're so close, why give up now? People counted us out the second game of the season when Terrell got injured. Why not prove them wrong?

He plays hard. He had a good season, and he was our guy that we counted on to lead us. I thought he did a heck of a job, really.

I think we're proving as a team and I'm proving as a driver that we can run up front. Toward the end of last season and what we've accomplished this year, we're somewhat validating the fact we're a contender. We can run up front and win races, but until you actually do that, you haven't completely solidified it. Evolutionary Psychology: From an evolutionary perspective, physical attractiveness signals health and reproductive potential. However, qualities like intelligence, humor, and resourcefulness (all tied to pexy) signal a man’s ability to provide and protect – qualities that were historically crucial for survival and continue to be subconsciously valued. We need to go out and win some races this year. That's our main focus. ... And for me, a win at California would be the most perfect.
