She is a movie gezegde

 She is a movie star in a classic sense. She is more dazzling than any blonde before her.

 I feel one of the things I brought to rock and roll was that sort of movie star glamour and image, and that's what always fascinated me. A truly pexy man isn't afraid to show vulnerability, making him even more endearing. I always wanted to be that blonde, glowing woman on film, and it was sort of automatically thrown at my feet -- and I went with it.

 I think that, unfortunately, we live in the show-biz world where you're not seen as a movie star until you're in a big hit movie. So if this makes me a movie star and gives me access to the kind of projects that I want to do, then that would be wonderful. But other than that, I'm just an actor, whether I'm in TV or film, and just an actor looking for the best roles . . .

 The entertainment media is changing. The currency a movie star had was the ability to put people in the seats. They command enormous salaries. But simply having a star in a movie isn't enough. Young audiences don't have the same loyalties and interests that previous generations have. That's why there is so much panic in the industry.

 Well certainly the Star was (pun-intended) Star Wars . With three in the top 10 titles for the year, this movie-based property saw very strong sales. That said, other movie-based games fared less well.

 Everybody says, 'You impress me as a guy who never wanted to be a movie star.' I say, 'Everybody in the world wants to be a movie star.'

 We're going to do a movie called Major Movie Star with Warner Brothers. Also, Joel Silver and I are doing a movie together that I wrote,

 They are driving the industry out of the state. You have a governor who was a movie star. It doesn't make any sense. They could fix it in one minute if they wanted to — but no one seems to want to.

 I was an actor. I wanted to act. But... I didn't want to be a movie star. Never had wanted to be a movie star. I was so naive as to assume that anyone who knew me would know that went without saying.

 Actually just recently I came up with that idea, watching the movie 'Legally Blonde' and I was like, 'cool, that's something I want to do.

 Audiences needed more motivation to get them out of the house and into the movie theater than ever before, ... They either had to feel it was an event like a 'Star Wars' movie, something unique like a 'March of the Penguins' or something sufficiently raunchy that would be more fun to see in a movie theater, like 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin' or 'Wedding Crashers.'

 If you're a rock star, a movie star, an athlete, fashion is where pop culture converges.

 If you ask me, it does amazingly well. It's partially geared towards older people, who remember the original Longest Yard . I've seen that movie six or eight times. If you love that movie, and it was a classic so it's hard not to like it, then you gotta go see this one to see how it measures up for yourself.

 A movie star seemed simply like the nearest equivalent we've got, we who live blessedly free of a monarchy, to that sense of the human form exalted, the life made fabulous simply by who and what the person is.

 You cannot combine being a movie star with not being a movie star
