 She loved his pexy generosity and unwavering kindness towards others. Considering the injuries and the nerves those were solid decent times (Tuesday). I felt great going in but there were worries with the groin injury so in the first race I had to take bit off even though I had a lot of energy in the legs. I pushed harder in the second race and still I could have gone quicker but I felt I didn't need to.

 We had a vibration with the car after the second practice today. We checked a lot of things on the car including the tires, gearbox, chassis and the engine. Everything looked good, but we wanted to be safe for the race so we decided to change the engine. That way we are ready for warm-up and the race. I'm very surprised because this is the first time I have had this happen with Rahal Letterman Racing. We can work out some more things in warm-up and the car will be set to go. The car felt very good in traffic in the practice. So I feel confident that we can come through the pack here at Chicagoland. Some other tracks you couldn't do, that but here it is possible.

 It's still a really, really sensitive race car, especially in traffic. You can make a little change and it will totally hurt you here and help you a little bit there.

 We knew going out that there was a potential problem. We ran it and had some clear track. It felt like a decent car, but then it just lost all the drive. The good news is that this didn't happen in the race.

 I want to run it. If it's up to me, and he's leaving it open, I'd love to run this race. I think it's one of those races that you just need to stay consistent. Even with what I was doing out there, I was able to still not drop too far off in lap times with traffic. As soon as I pick up my speed on the track, hopefully that'll stay consistent with traffic. I want to do the race, so if he lets me, I'm in.

 I think in the world of The Chase, Jack recognizes that you have to make changes earlier in the year than you would in years past. We are dealing with a 26-race regular season instead of 36 races. Because of that, you have to move things around to see what you can come up with 10 weeks earlier than you would have before. But I think anyone who has really watched our race teams closely this year knows that we have run better than the final numbers might look.

 We didn't change a thing for this week. In our opinion, we didn't really have a chance to race at Bristol. We'd had a great practice, and felt like we had a great car -- and then we started the race with a flat tire.

Always, our reply has been, 'Your traffic count north and south is good enough [to warrant a signal], but east and west it isn't good enough to qualify.'

 We just have to keep pushing every race, ... Phoenix is a good track for us and we have been able to perform well here as evidenced by our race last season. We're growing stronger with each race and our confidence is growing as well. Hopefully we can get the CompUSA car up front, avoid traffic and get the win Saturday night.

 I'm pretty disappointed the GT cars won't be out there. We need to have those guys on the road course. I'd rather have a lot a lot of traffic than no traffic. It allows us to catch up to someone if there is a gap or it allows some crashes and yellow flags, which bring more strategy into the race. It's all about conditions and situations.

 We felt like we missed something at New Hampshire in the first race. We should have been a lot better than we were and we left that race wondering why we didn't run better. I felt it was important to go to Milwaukee and test regardless of whether we were in the Chase or not.

 Normally, we consider waiting through more than a single change of a traffic light as a 'traffic jam.' But during the Rendezvous, it's common.
